What is THINK, EAT AND MOVE?

Think, Eat and Move (TEAM) is a free healthy lifestyle program that aims to support individuals to improve their physical activity and eating habits.


The program has been designed by health professionals and acknowledges the growing independence of teenagers.


Teenagers completing the program will learn a range of practical skills and useful tips each week helping them to make healthy choices and to take the lead on their health.

How does it work?

Each week during the TEAM program, families complete an

    • Complete an online activity session
    • Have a phone-based coaching call
    • Work on a range of targets at home

    The online sessions take about 30 minutes and can be completed at a time that suits you. Coaching calls take about 20 minutes each and are scheduled ahead of time. Flexible appointment times in the afternoons and evenings are available.


    Throughout the program you will receive a range of resources in the mail as well as regular SMS and email messages.


    Your parent or carer will also be able to help you throughout the program as they also complete the online sessions and their own phone coaching.


    The TEAM program is free for eligible individuals and has new programs starting each term.



SIGNING UP


You will need to provide your gender, height, weight, date of birth and postcode to determine if you are eligible for the program. You will also need to enter your contact details to sign up to the program.


Once you have signed up to your program account, your account will be locked until your TEAM Health Coach calls you to confirm your registration.

The TEAM Program is currently funded by Central and Eastern Sydney PHN to provide free program places for adolescents aged 13 – 17 years who love or study in the Central and Eastern Sydney region.
